When I was a child, my family used to vacation with my best friends family a lot.
We would go on ski trips together, explore beaches together, and camp in the woods together. My favorite part of getting to the house we would be staying at, though, wasnt being in a new and exciting place or anticipating the coming activities it was racing to the room that my best friend and I would be sharing with her brother and checking for Bunk Beds.
I loved to sleep in a stack; I didnt care about being on the top bunk or the bottom bunk (though I preferred the top), I was simply excited by the idea of sleeping in a comfortable bed with a friend nearby. If the house or unit didnt have bunk beds, I would experience a deep disappointment here we were, on vacation, supposed to be having fun, but I had to sleep in a regular bed. I felt cheated. I would still end up enjoying our vacation, but never as much as when my friend and I were sleeping in bunk beds.
